Interns in Jordan are accommodated in an intern apartment in the heart of Amman that houses up to 8 program participants, in bedrooms that sleep 3 to 4 guests of the same sex. If you’d prefer to have your own privacy and enjoy the comfort of having a room just for yourself, upgrade to our private accommodation.

Please note that in all cases, bathrooms are shared and toilets can be accessed by diverse genders. Ensuite bathrooms are unavailable.

The private room must be booked and paid for in advance, as availability is limited.

The stunning landscapes of Wadi Rum - the “valley of the Moon” - is a protected desert in southern Jordan. You might recognize the landscape from countless blockbusters (perhaps best known from Lawrence of Arabia). It features dramatic sandstone mountains and natural arches. Many prehistoric inscriptions and carvings line rocky caverns and steep chasms.

A trip to Jordan is not complete without visiting Petra, the Lost City of Jordan - one of the world’s most remarkable archaeological sites and Seventh Wonder of the World. Petra lies on the slope of Jabal Al-Madbah in a basin among the mountains, which form the eastern flank of Arabah valley that run from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba.

The natural hot springs that make up Ma’in are believed to have a number of biblical connections. The springs of Ma’in were originally known as Baaras and are mentioned in the Bible. According to the Bible, King Herod regularly visited Baaras due to the springs’ natural healing qualities.

The baptism of Jesus Christ is said by some to have taken place at Al-Maghtas, also called Bethany Beyond the Jordan, and is a legally protected National Park. This tour includes a visit to that side, in addition to the Ma'in Hot Springs, where you can choose to go in for a dip or just relax and watch the waterfalls.

The city is internationally renowned for its preservation and restoration of these Roman structures that sit alongside bustling markets and trendy restaurants.

Umm Qais was once the thriving Roman city of Gadara. Today the area is home to magnificent ruins which draw thousands of visitors each year. Due to its hilltop location, Umm Qais is a perfect destination for absorbing the picturesque views of the Jordan Valley. There are many Roman sites at Umm Qais including two ancient theatres.

Ajloun Castle is a 12th Century fortress, set on top of Mount ‘Auf. Visitors enjoy astonishing views of the Jordan Valley and surrounding desert. Over the years the castle has undergone many rebuilds and although much of the original features no longer exist, there are many chambers, carvings, and towers.
