Information on the prize and how to enter form part of these conditions of entry. By entering this Competition, you agree to be bound by these conditions of entry and all decisions of the promoter (Intern Abroad HQ), which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. The program and these conditions of entry are void where prohibited by law. Any changes to these conditions of entry will be published on the Intern Abroad HQ website at www.internhq.com.

Employees of Intern Abroad HQ and their subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and members of their immediate families or households, are ineligible to apply for this Competition.

It is free to enter the Competition. One application accepted, per person. The applicant must be 18 years of age or older at the closure of entries (13 June 2017 at 7:00pm PST) and hold a valid passport with at least 6 months validity. Entries will only be accepted via www.facebook.com/internabroadhq or www.instagram.com/internabroadhq.

The entries can be submitted from 23 May 2017 at 7:00pm and close on 13 June 2017 at 7:00pm (PST). Applications are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by Intern Abroad HQ and Intern Abroad HQ records are conclusive as to the time of receipt. All dates are subject to change if necessary in Intern Abroad HQ’s discretion.

Winner will be selected under the supervision of Intern Abroad HQ. Winner will be notified by Facebook or Instagram within five (5) days following selection of Winner. Intern Abroad HQ shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 7 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Campaign is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected submissions or any errors or failures in internet or other communications. Intern Abroad HQ reserves the right to cancel or modify the competition promotion if, in its sole discretion, the administration of the competition promotion is impaired for technical or other reasons beyond its reasonable control and, in such an event, may select the winner from all valid entries received prior to the impairment.

The successful applicant will receive the following; Intern Abroad HQ deposit, 2-week Intern Abroad HQ Program Fee, and cost of return flights to the intern program destination to the value of US$1000. The prize cannot be refunded, transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash.

The winner must begin the volunteer program before 31 July 2018.
- As part of the scholarship, the recipient must:
- Submit three featured blog posts from their intern abroad trip (within two months of completing the program) that will be published on Intern Abroad HQ’s website and social media channels.
- Share photos of their intern abroad trip to Instagram tagged with Intern Abroad HQ’s Instagram account.

The winner will be responsible for covering the costs associated with traveling to the volunteer program, which includes but is not limited to flights (for any amount over the US$1,000 credit provided by Intern Abroad HQ), visas, vaccinations, criminal background check and spending money.
- The scholarship winner is also subject to the Intern Abroad HQ Terms and Conditions of Service.
