Choose our Flexi Deposit option and you'll be able to get your deposit payment of US$499 refunded back to you if you decide you’re no longer able to proceed with the internship we have lined up for you. This no-risk internship planning provides you with peace of mind and total flexibility.
By choosing our Flexi Deposit option, you can lock in the best internship early before the placements get filled up, and ensure you have sufficient time to apply for any academic approval or funding.
If these don’t come through or you just change your mind, you can cancel and receive a US$499 refund, provided that you cancel within 90 days of payment, and not less than 90 days prior to your earliest registered start date.

Terms and Conditions for Flexi Deposits
- Refunds of deposits will only be made within ninety (90) calendar days of your deposit payment date, and not less than ninety (90) calendar days before the internship’s originally scheduled start date (i.e. the earliest program start date the participant has ever been registered for).
- The maximum amount of any Flexi Deposit refund is US$499. All transaction fees are non-refundable.
FAQs
If you want to commence your internship soon (within the next 4 months or less), then you need to confirm your participation without delay. Choose the Standard option when booking, as this will allow you to confirm and plan with confidence within a shorter time frame. Standard bookings are non-refundable in all circumstances.
If your preferred internship start date is more than 4 months away, then you can choose the Flexi option when booking. This covers the regular Deposit Fee payment cost of US$499, plus a safeguard, to ensure you’re eligible for a refund of US$499, if you cancel within 90 days of your payment date. Note that refund eligibility is not offered within 90 days of your originally scheduled start date, so you will benefit most from the Flexi option when you’re planning in advance. Most interns plan 6+ months in advance - especially for peak summer periods.
Yes - when you plan in advance, you can change your plans prior to the final payment deadline. Just ensure that you communicate with your Program Manager to ensure your change requests are received and accepted in a timely manner. This flexibility provides you with the freedom to lock in your internship placement now knowing you can edit your choice of start date, duration, internship, and destination if you need to. You could also switch from interning abroad to interning remotely, and vice versa!
Yes - you can spread your Program Fee across monthly interest-free installments, which may help to prevent financial strain from a large one-time payment. Make sure you plan in advance, to access the full benefits and maximum number of installments. Learn more here.
