Accommodation

Our accommodation options are carefully selected, according to safety considerations, close proximity to your internship placement, and opportunities to connect with others for socializing. There are a range of options available and we can make customized recommendations upon request, for accommodation upgrades (or even exclusions).
Meals

In Country Orientation
To help you ease into your new surroundings, all internships abroad begin with a comprehensive orientation. Our local team will guide you through important details, introductions, local transport options, how to stay safe, and ideas for free time activities!
Internship Placement
Our placements are facilitated by in-country, on-the-ground, local coordinators, who serve to support you throughout, acting as destination hosts and liaisons between you and your internship supervisor. Interns always have layers of support in place, whether through the supervisor, in-country host, Intern Abroad HQ Program Management team, or our dedicated Campus Support representatives. This ensures that everyone involved in the delivery of this experience is focused on ensuring that the internship works for the intern, putting personal and professional development at the absolute forefront.
Experiential Learning
Intern Abroad HQ includes detailed experiential learning activities within all internship programs. This interactive approach is essential, as the content covered - via themed weekly reflections - provides a structured platform to link experiences to skills. Interns are assisted to develop their own voice as a professional, identifying the unique attributes that can foster their confidence, self-awareness and employability.
Gain Academic Credit
Maximize the value of an internship by adding tuition. Interns can save thousands of dollars in homeschool tuition fees by optionally earning US credits through our School of Record partnerships. Otherwise, work with our Program Managers and Campus Support team to ensure that your internship complies with your independent academic requirements.
