- $1,000 credit to apply toward your medical internship program with Intern Abroad HQ
- Our all-inclusive intern abroad programs provide interns with comprehensive pre-departure support services and training, as well as in-country program orientations and safety briefings, accommodation (some programs also include meals), and 24/7 in-country support.

The Medical Internship Abroad Scholarship is open to anyone of any nationality who is over the age of 18 with a passion for supporting others through the healthcare field. You need to come with a willingness to learn and get out of your comfort zone, while being immersed in a new country and culture alongside other international interns.
Applications for the scholarship close at midnight on January 6, 2023 (PST).
The scholarship recipient will be able to intern in any one of the 10 destinations in which Intern Abroad HQ offers Health Sciences internship programs.
If you know you want to become a medical intern but aren’t sure where you’d like to intern yet, you can still apply for the scholarship. If you are selected as a finalist, the Intern Abroad HQ team will be happy to assist you in selecting a destination that’s the best fit for you.
If you are the scholarship recipient, you can travel to the destination of choice on any date between March 2023 and December 2023.
If you’re a student participating in an Intern Abroad HQ internship, you can obtain an academic credit transcript through Intern Abroad HQ’s School of Record program through the University of Montana. We offer variable credits to accommodate diverse durations of study. These credits may be applied worldwide. Find out more here.
Yes! We recommend securing your place by paying your deposit to ensure you don’t miss out on your first choice internship program and start date. If you are the scholarship recipient, your deposit will be refunded to you.
