This is a remote internship you can undertake virtually from home. Click here to explore in-country Real Estate internships, if you would prefer to travel and intern abroad.

There is a broad portfolio of placements available for virtual Real Estate internships. Interns should ultimately have a keen interest in marketing and sales, with motivation to develop experience related to these skill sets. Whether you’re interested in providing customer service, tracking leads, developing sales strategies and marketing campaigns, there is scope to develop transferable skills which are essential for careers in business, marketing, finance, design and more.

We ask that Real Estate interns submit a detailed application, outlining their skills, experience, internship requirements, and desired outcomes. Interns wanting to focus specifically on real estate, or property management, should include details in your application. Requests are accommodated wherever possible, though are subject to availability.

As a remote intern, you’ll be in regular contact with your supervisor through email and online meetings, where you’ll receive guidance and feedback. You’ll be guided by your supervisor, to set tasks and goals. The operational goals of your internship host company may vary. However, key priorities may pertain to:

  • Projects related to sales strategies
  • Digital marketing campaigns / content creation related to newsletters and videos
  • Social media campaigns / daily advertising requirements on social media
  • Collecting market data and analysis
  • Support for data organization, presentations, financial and legal documents

In all cases, interns should expect that the initial phase of their remote internship will focus on gaining some introductory knowledge. You may start by gaining an understanding or overview of what you can build upon, develop, learn, and contribute. Ensure that you ask questions and provide feedback during the introductory period, so that your supervisor understands how you’re progressing. This will help them to better understand important details, such as how quickly you learn, what you find challenging, what you find interesting, etc.

Career Benefits

Real Estate interns learn from a qualified and experienced supervisor, and can be involved in:
  • Support on projects such as developing sales strategies, marketing campaigns, social media campaigns and collecting market data.

  • Daily advertising requirements on social media, content creation (newsletters, videos, etc).

  • Support with data organization, presentations, analysis documents, financial and legal documents.
