There is a broad portfolio of placements available for virtual Finance internships. We ask that interns submit a detailed application, outlining their skills, experience, internship requirements, and desired outcomes. Upon confirmation of your participation, all interns are required to present a copy of their resume in advance, as an internship placement will be assigned in consideration of your current skills and experience level. If there is a particular industry or sector that you’re interested in, please let us know, as this can be taken into consideration when your specific internship match is being made.

As a remote intern, you’ll be in regular contact with your supervisor through email and online meetings, where you’ll receive guidance and feedback. You’ll be guided by your supervisor, to set tasks and goals. The operational goals of your internship host company may vary. However, key priorities may pertain to risk analysis, financial management, and investment. Interns can anticipate being involved in training sessions to learn more about topics, such as trading and market implications. Remote interns may additionally assist with the transmission of daily market notes, research and preparation of relevant materials for presentations, and market trend analysis.

In all cases, interns should expect that the initial phase of their remote internship will focus on gaining some introductory knowledge. You may start by gaining an understanding or overview of what you can build upon, develop, learn, and contribute. Ensure that you ask questions and provide feedback during the introductory period, so that your supervisor understands how you’re progressing. This will help them to better understand important details, such as how quickly you learn, what you find challenging, what you find interesting, etc.
