As a remote intern, you’ll be in regular contact with your supervisor through email and online meetings, where you’ll receive guidance and feedback. You’ll be guided by your supervisor, to set tasks and goals. The diverse IT & Data Analysis goals of your internship host company may vary. However, key priorities typically pertain to enhancing business productivity, efficiency and strategic growth.

Depending on the priorities of your internship, you may anticipate activities such as market research, contributing to the development and implementation of diverse growth strategies, and assisting in delivering improved customer service. Interns may contribute to projects, for example, related to developing and implementing IT solutions in programming, testing, UX, software development, network infrastructure, cloud platforms, and other essential aspects within the field.

In all cases, interns should expect that the initial phase of their remote internship will focus on gaining some introductory knowledge. You may start by gaining an understanding or overview of what you can build upon, develop, learn, and contribute.
