What recent interns said about their experience

Stefano Vertua
September 2021

One thing is clear - my internship has been so exciting and positive for me! It has helped me grow on a personal and a professional level. My supervisor was very nice and keen to help me with everything I needed support with. My main tasks were to find potential customers interested in oil-based extractors. I had to make multiple calls and exchange emails with various shops in Italy, collecting all the potential interested stores and adding them to odoo, the company's management software. I now have a clearer idea on what I would like to do as a job, namely working in the business development field. I can add this experience to my resume, and this will for sure bring a positive result. My long-term goal now is to prepare myself for working life. This experience has certainly contributed to this in a positive way. The biggest piece of advice I would give in future is to be more confident with myself and my skills. At the very beginning, I was afraid I was not enough for my role. However, I quickly realized that I was doing a great job and my supervisor was so happy with my performance.
