If you’re passionate about open source platforms for the Internet of Things, this remote internship provides scope for an engaging experience. Interns study some of the tools and open source platforms that have been proposed and used for the Internet of Things. For this purpose, up to eleven such tools and/or platforms will be provided. In addition, an intelligent mini use case application could be developed to extract comparative results from the platforms.
This fascinating internship is hosted out of Greece, through the International Hellenic University (IHU). Their mission is the production and offering of knowledge in the field of Higher Education. IHU offers both pre- and post-graduate programs, in addition to lifelong learning programs using modern and classical teaching methods - as well as distance learning!
Interns should be prepared to engage with fresh ideas, which can be implemented on the emerging technology of the Internet of Things. IoT changes rapidly the way people work and live, creating a new era. - Gain increased familiarity with the IoT
- Engage in theoretical study/analysis of the platforms/tools to be compared

- Develop an evaluation use case and determine evaluation criteria
- Proceed with comparison based on the aforementioned criteria, using the use case
- Record results and guidelines for students, who will use tools in the future
