The psychological impact of Covid-19 is devastating and far-reaching. Stress and anxiety caused by isolation, loss of income, financial insecurity, fear and bereavement can trigger new mental health conditions or exacerbate underlying issues. The psychological impact of the Covid-19 pandemic can also lead to issues such as increased domestic violence, alcohol abuse, or other harmful conditions. On this psychology internship, interns with a background in Psychology and Social Work gain pertinent experience by remotely assisting an Indian based Institute of Counselling that specializes in:

  • Career guidance and counselling
  • Learning difficulties solutions
  • Personal and teenage counselling
  • Clinical diagnostic testing
  • Outreach training programs
  • Corporate services

Remote interns receive guidance from their supervisor to develop specific insights into the psychological services necessary to support those struggling with the broad impacts of Covid-19.

Relevant supervisors hold the following degrees:

  1. MA in Clinical Psychology, PGDM in Career Development, Group Psychological Tests, Contemporary Psychotherapies, Psychopathology, Personality Psychology, Micro Counseling & Counseling techniques.
  2. PhD in Human Development and Family Studies, M.A. in Human Development and Family Counseling, Diploma in Counseling, Diploma in Criminal Psychology and MBA.

If you have academic requirements which stipulate the type of qualification your internship supervisor must have, please let us know in advance.
